A green smart-living tech company building smart mobile farms to drive a new green movement. Students will support scientific research and development of hydroponic technology, collect operational and experimental data to perform data analytics

This project aims to develop electrocatalysts for efficient nitrate to ammonia conversion to realise the “Trash-To-Treasure” concept.  Interns will gain experience in nanomaterial preparation, physical and chemical characterization, performance assessment and data analysis.

Project to assist current research project on a newborn disease called biliary atresia and the role of the human cytomegalovirus as an etiological factor.

A HK based robotic technology venture that develops robotic products for physical rehabilitation used in elderly homes, public and private hospitals. Interns will research and assist in internal testing of robotic and healthtech products

Project aims to develop hydrogel-based biomaterials for modulating biomolecular functions and cell behaviors. Interns will gain experience in polymer synthesis, hydrogel preparation, physical and chemical characterization, performance assessment, and data analysis.

An internship project working with a team of epidemiologists, veterinary clinicians, and data scientists working on the transmission of animal diseases in animal populations.  Students will assess the quality, summarise and interpret health data about chicken demographics and avian flu viruses.

Project developing potential compounds as broad spectrum antiviral inhibitors.

Projects including: identification and functional studies of important genes contributing to crop yield, quality, stress tolerance and nitrogen metabolism; as well as optimizing platforms for crop transformation, seed bioreactors, and next generation genomic sequencing and bioinformatics.

Conduct molecular biology and epigenetics lab techniques with learning workshops and lectures from graduate students and professors.

A molecular epidemiology and bioinformatics internship project involved in identifying commonly shared molecular mechanism between two complex traits using pathway based analytical approach
